Super-Tix® 10CSSN is the flagship titanium exhaust system product, offering the highest tensile strength of all our speciality exhaust alloys.

The main benefit of using 10CSSN is that apart from increased strength you will also get the same performance enhancements as in our other products (10CU,10CUNB) which includes high temperature strength and good formability at room temperature with greater oxidation resistance.

Super-Tix® 10CSSN is available to our customers in both sheets and welded tubes.

   SUPERIOR OXIATION RESISTANCE

Super-Tix® 10CSSN offers excellent oxidation resistance, a feature which is critical in the performance of motorsport exhaust systems. The alloy is further solution hardened with the introduction of tin (Sn) whilst the addition of Niobium (Nb) and silicon (Si) promotes excellent corrosive resistant characteristics. Exhaust systems made using this alloy are highly resistant to high temperature salt damage.

   MATERIAL BENEFITS:

    High temperature strength
    Good formability at room temperature
    Effective weight reduction solution
Highest tensile strength of all our exhaust alloys
Available in both sheet and welded tube
    Excellent oxidation resistance
Resistant to high temperature salt damage

Super-Tix® 10CU is a titanium alloy designed specifically for high performance motorsport exhaust systems.

The alloy is a specially developed titanium offering a combination of high temperature strength with good formability at room temperature. Available in both sheet and welded tube, the introduction of copper as an additional alloying element results in solid solution hardening and low oxygen content. This addition doubles the high temperature strength when compared with pure titanium. Super-Tix® 10CU also offers improved corrosion resistance when compared with stainless steel.

   IN THE REAL WORLD...

A good example of how Super-Tix® 10CU titanium can improve performance can be found in Nissan’s GT-R sports car.

The alloy is employed in the muffler of the exhaust system. Its use reduces the overall mass by 5.5 Kg when compared to the original, stainless steel version, whilst offering double the high temperature strength of pure titanium.

   MATERIAL BENEFITS:

    High temperature strength
    Good formability at room temperature
    Effective weight reduction solution
Improved tensile strength when compared to CP Grade 2 at room temperature
Available in both sheet and welded tube

Super-TIX® 10CUNB Ultimate is a high performance titanium developed specifically for use in exhaust systems.

Like Super-TIX® 10CU, the alloy benefits from the introduction of copper as an additional alloying element which results in solid solution hardening and low oxygen content. This addition doubles the high temperature strength when compared with pure titanium.

Niobium is also added to further improve oxidation resistance. The alloy offers greater tensile strength when compared to CP Grade 2 and Super-TIX® 10CU. Super-TIX® 10CUNB is available to our customers in both sheet and welded tubes.

   GREATER OXIDATION RESISTANCE

The introduction of Niobium into the alloy production process results in a finished product with the same material characteristics as 10CU but offers greater oxidation resistance.

This provides engine designers with greater flexibility and choice when considering and choosing materials. The alloy also offers considerable performance advantages when compared with stainless steel.

   MATERIAL BENEFITS:

    High temperature strength
    Good formability at room temperature
    Effective weight reduction solution
Improved tensile strength when compared to CP Grade 2 at room temperature
Available in both sheet and welded tube
Improved oxidation resistance when compared to 10CU
